Yay, I guess… I’m in no way bashing fish _soups_, but this is just another example underpinning the fact that Taste Atlas really isn’t reliable, or particularly good at what they’re trying to do. “Fiskesuppe” is not an actual dish, not _a specific soup_ anyway, it’s just a category of soup, which includes several different variations. Cullen Skink (also on the list) is a type of “Fiskesuppe”, but most fish soups aren’t Cullen Skink.
How the hell is it tied with sopa de tortilla? There is something *fishy* there for sure…

Best fish soup I’ve had as a Norwegian was in Reykjavik. Maybe I should explore the ones in Oslo

Bullshit list.
In my opinion fiskesuppe is way better than many of the soups in the list. Of course the question is how well its made, but if it made well I would rate it from this list in top 15 world soups definitely.
