Emergency and urgent care to be prioritised over routine appointments during junior doctors’ strike, NHS says

  1. Yes, as an A&E and Urgent care practitioner, that’s how it works. Your orthopaedic 6 month review can wait. Your acute fracture can’t wait. People think it’s all MIs, strokes, or surgical emergencies. A distal radius fracture can be severely limiting if not treated appropriately

  2. It ought to be illegal for emergency or so called ‘care’ professions to strike. Disgusting. my opinion of these folks is falling as they continue to kill people in the NHS, but remember folks, its the best in the world, although nowhere else in the world has ever replicated it, why’s that?

  3. Fantastic! Waiting for 4 appointment with Orthopedics being one of the most important ones. I’ve already waited months!
