  1. Most of the countryside photos seem to have been taken in Austria.

    Photo 3 appears to be while Vienna was still under Allied occupation, presumably with the USSR taking leadership at that time.

    Photo 8 is (according to my failing memory) Luzern’s painted bridge.

    I have a feeling that 18 may have been taken in Pisa. I’m not sure why. 😉

    19 and 20 are London, as I’m sure people have guessed!

  2. Are you sure the third one is from Vienna? The writing in the window/on the wall in the background is kyrillic. And the picture above looks very soviet unionish. It could be a visit of soviets in Vienna, though.
    I‘m not from Vienna, so I cannot tell, wether that building is actually in Vienna.

    The photo of your grandmother seems to be in front of the leaning tower in Pisa, Italy, by the way.
