In Malta rental and products prices are high, salary level is relatively low.
To deal with this situation, i am using LIDL Plus app, trying to find more deals.
This site is quite big, have many deals:

If you have other deals, please let me know,

Some stuff at Lidl is more expensive than other well known supermarkets. Just FYI.
I wouldn’t say LIDL has the best deals anymore, shops like SMART can beat them on price of certain items like, Tuna, mayo, oats, nuts, raisins, soya milk, biscuits, jams, meats.
Bananas from LIDL around 1.39 -1.50 a kilo but usually they will be cheaper from the fruit van, like a euro for a kilo.
Just need to shop around, for veggies then try the farmers market on Saturday mornings in Ta Qali.
Hello, I’ve also used the LIDL plus app, but in reality if you don’t stick to what you normally buy, you end up spending more.
IF you do stick to your usual shopping list, my discounts normally aren’t more than like 5 euro, max 6 euro (last time I spent 90 euro, lidl plus discount was total:3.20euro!)
Its not really worth it from my experience.
