I remember hearing at school back in the turn of the Millennium that Lou Bega had died; apparently he had fell overboard in the Caribbean and was ate by sharks. Was only years later I found out he was still alive. I still wish it had have been true

I went to Miami for New Year’s Eve 1999 and in the taxi from the airport, the radio was playing Will Smith’s ‘Miami’ and it was amazing
In 99 I learned how to rip to mp3. I would share those CDs with the lads in my class and they’d give me their cd collection which would be ripper and then passed on.By the end of the year we all had 100s of CDs. Good times.
Was just listening to a Spotify playlist there yesterday with all of these songs 😂
