4. I remember when Obama came to Ireland, those Chinooks flew right over my house alongside the president. I swear they are the loudest helicopters I’ve ever heard in my life

6. I guarantee you have no idea whether there’s CIA there. No reason anyways, Irish government fully cooperates with Secret Service and has its own well-informed Gardai undercover officers.

   I do wonder how big Dublin Station of the CIA is. Does it even exist? The Embassy is small and the Ambassador is always a politically-connected Irish American, not a professional diplomat.

   If it does:

   Is it a backwater where failed officers are sent?

   Or an end of career or rest-and-recreation reward for successful Irish-American officers?

7. 5 copters went over the Phoenix park yesterday around 3pm, 3 Chinooks at the back. The sound off them is something else pretty cool to see.

12. Saw this flying overhead yesterday afternoon from Co. Dublin, thought it was part of the commemoration parade.

The chinooks are a detachment of US Marines (or it could also be Army, but the green Camo on the chinooks hints towards marines) they are on standby incase anything happens, as a few secret service-men aren’t enough, the marines also bring those massive MRAP trucks with them, as well as AA, AT and mortars. The Irish Army is working with the marines on defence, and wherever Biden speaks you count on that there will be some marine cover viva snipers covering him.
