So bekannt der «Tiptopf» ist, so wenig bekannt sind bis heute seine Autorinnen: Fünf Hauswirschaftslehrerinnen: Ursula Schmid und Marianne Keller aus dem Kanton Zürich, Ursula Affolter und Monika Jaun aus dem Kanton Bern und die inzwischen verstorbene Rosmarie Felder aus Luzern.
