No matter which city it is, it’s always a disaster after a while and they get rid of it most of the time.
edit: You can downvote me as you want, but I’ve already lived in cities with those and from experience, nothing good comes from it. Wait for drunk people or anyone who doesn’t care about safety to use it and you’ll see the complain quite fast =)
Worse than the ones you can rent, are little kids riding their own scooters. Because they don’t mind traffic, they don’t wear helmets and they don’t care if you are walking with a two year old or a dog or just the burden of life. They will run you over and shout at you and an hour later the angry parents stand at your door, asking why you threw your pitchfork at their innocent baby.
What I don’t get is why these aren’t simply harvested for parts and lithium as soon as they’re inflicted on a city. 🤔
Ah, the optimism!
It is still just mid April….
Last year we had 50 cm of fresh snow the first week of May.
These are fine in Tromsø. They are rarely obnoxious.
That said, last year they were way too expensive and tricky to use. Having to buy a fake currency package to use the damn thing 🤢
Looks like there’s some forecast on snow next weekend.
Think bikes are just a generally better Idea for Norway.
I’ve lost feeling in the forearm bumping into these damn things on the sidewalk 🥴
Can’t wait for the hunting season to start on these.
theyre coming…
I’ve just arrived to do some work outside. I can assure you it is not spring yet. The temp in Georgia where is already 25c outside.
