Im just confused where did all the russians disappear at some point?
What is considered an immigrant in Finland? Are these those people who have come to Finland and now gained permanent residency status or are these refugees or is it both?
Because here in Canada immigrants are usually considered those who get permanent residency status then citizenship later on because the number of refugees is very small compared to total immigrants.
I was just curious how it is in Finland?
Need to lower the Russian number to zero.
is immigration an issue finms want solved? do you finns dislike immigrints or is there some crisis with them? i am 16 israeli and would like to move to finland and will i be welcomed or will pepole prefer me out?
I find it hard to believe that we have so many people from Sweden here
And apparently we have about 30 000 Russian citizens (in 2021), but over 80 000 who speak Russian as their mother tongue (I assume they have the Finnish citizenship)
Seems like it conflates immigration and asylum.
I am a Bangladeshi living in Finland for almost 5 years. I always wonder what do you mean by respecting your culture? For me personally I am an introvert person. It is difficult for me to make new friends and making Finnish friends is even harder for obvious reason. But I respect the laws, pay my taxes, and try not to offend anyone by my actions. But then again, as an immigrant I also maintain my own culture. I celebrate my home country’s culture with few compatriots we have during occasions and also religious festivities such as Eid which is similar to Christmas. As a first generation immigrant it is not easy to learn everything from scratch, but I know my future kid will have more opportunities to integrate than me and I have made my peace with that. Is there anything you think I should do more?

Estonians successfully integrate into Finland because language and culture are incredibly close.
Not sure about the exact numbers of that video, but something else is bothering me. Why music sounds like that is a killing virus spreading over the world in the computer game? 😀
So how bad are Estonians as immigrants?  Atleast with Estonians nothing changes in Finland, because we sound and look similar, we are not into religion and i believe learning Finnish is quite simple for us.
