The world’s northernmost Lidl in Sodankylä, Finland. On the left, there’s a banner telling about it.

  1. Does Lidl deliver tons of unsolicited paper leaflets to all households in the Arctic Circle as well? THEY ALL HAVE TO KNOW that there is promotion next week for chicken breasts in the nearest Lidl.

  2. For many of us living in Northern Lapland, the only function of Sodankylä is that if you are travelling home you stop either on a gas station or to Lidl to buy cheap food or something you can’t get from other grocery stores.
