Clutching at straws here but I haven’t been able to get any answer through official channels so here’s hoping there’s some expert in vehicle law in Poland here… XD
I’m in Sweden, selling an enduro motorbike to a Polish guy. This is turning out to be a major PITA but he’s already sent me a down payment so I’d really like to make the sale work although in worst case I’ll repay him.
I’ve been looking at [https://www-gov-pl.translate.goog/web/infrastruktura/wersja-angielska?\_x\_tr\_sl=auto&\_x\_tr\_tl=en&\_x\_tr\_hl=sv&\_x\_tr\_pto=wapp](https://www-gov-pl.translate.goog/web/infrastruktura/wersja-angielska?_x_tr_sl=auto&_x_tr_tl=en&_x_tr_hl=sv&_x_tr_pto=wapp)
but most of the english version of [gov.pl](https://gov.pl) doesn’t seem to work very well.
As it is now, I need to send a document to the Swedish authorities that the bike is registered in another country to change ownership to him and deregister in Sweden.
But to register in Poland, the other guy needs to prove ownership of the bike has already been transferred to him.
If I can point the Swedish authorities to something proving the vehicle does not require registration in the new country none of this will be needed. As I understand the document only road-going vehicles are registered in Poland? Could anyone help me find where the Polish laws about sport vehicles not intended for road-use are written? Then I can google translate it… 🙂
Cheers

Usually written purchase and sale agreement is enough to prove ownership for registration of vehicle in Poland.
But it also takes technical review at certified station, so guy can only register bike once it is physically in Poland.
I think that once vehicle is registered in EU, it is not that easy to legally “deregister”. Although there are less legal ways…
There are no rules about “sport vehicle” in polish law unfortunately. This is a massive PITA for rally drivers in particular.
There are some rules according sport cars and sport motorcycles made by PZM (local FIA/FIM) but those only influence organised events.
