Any help would be appreciated in identifying these locations in Antwerp from WWII.

  1. I’m inclined to say Antwerp…

    The buildings look /familiar/.

    Station looks like Antwerp Central, outside on the diamond and jewellery stores now.

    Skyscraper looks like the “KBC toren”

    Let’s see what details other redditors will bring.

  6. Pic 5 is the west side of the Frankrijklei looking north, with the OLV Van Genade church in the feint background. 6 looks like the same location from another perspective or close by, but not sure.

    Pic 7 is the Breydelstraat looking towards the De Keyserlei.

  7. Pic 4 and 10 are at the end of de Keyserlei beginning of Teniersplaats looking at the corner where now Bistro René is located. You can vaguely see the former Grand Hôtel Métropole in the back.

Pic 1: could be any street from the diamond quarter/jewish part of Antwerp to New South ([postal code 2018](https://www.google.com/maps/place/2018+Antwerpen/@51.199503,4.3747319,12.96z/data=!4m6!3m5!1s0x47c3f6e555f157fb:0x82bd96e566c4a078!8m2!3d51.2037695!4d4.4112637!16s%2Fm%2F0w04qs2)). Since lots of houses there look alike.

Central Station is just a bit further and used to be called North Station.

  11. You already got input on the ones I recognized but just got to say it’s quite hilarious to see the words skyscraper and downtown used for Antwerp.
