Just saw it in Snorrabraut almost getting ran over by a car. Twice! Very very friendly. Meowed at me and has been standing beside me for the past 20mins. Has no collar and by looks alone seems to have been homeless for at least a few days. Seems very well fed though.
I’d love to take care of it, but I’m staying in a hotel atm. Is there anything i can do? Anyone i can call about it? I’m new to Reykjavik, so maybe this is normal here….?
You can reach out to Kattholt if you think it needs shelter. Feral animals aren’t a very common sighting.
It’s more likely to be an extra social wanderer than a stray. Cats are a common sight here

Hi. Were is he now? He lives by Snorrabraut and is not lost, but he hasn’t come home this morning so I am guessing he has been catnapped.
We have written a few posts about Tommi on the main fb cat pages. Please stop taking him inside. He can find his way back home from anywhere, granted he isnt locked inside. He lives at Snorrabraut so pet him orwhatever but please please stop taking him places and leave him be.
