Sinn Féin confirms discussing gun attack with Jonathan Dowdall

  1. – Dowdall is clearly a dodgy as fuck character with links to serious crimes

    – Someone in Sinn Fein verifiably question him about some of the dodgy shit he’s done,.

    – Sinn Fein decide to make him a councillor anyway

    – While a Sinn Fein councillor he literally kidnaps and tortures a man in a direct link to organised crime.

    – Less than a year after leaving the party he is involved in a gangland public execution at an event packed with innocent people.

    – Dowdall is then proven to have directly facilitated a meeting between the monk & dissident republicans. He even literally drove him to the meeting himself.

    – Sinn Fein have been asked for comment repeatedly but have insisted “there was nothing to suggest that Dowdall was linked to criminality”

    Also Sinn Fein.

  2. This makes me feel more uncomfortable about them , in power.
They also seem to put up local candidates, who no one complains openly about, but only in aside whispers.
Like the public/community will slander all other political candidates but won’t say a word about SF candidates, weird huh?

Edit : it’s like they haven’t gone away , ye know?

  3. it’s sad that were stuck with such shit parties. i will still vote sinn fein but i wish we had better alternatives

  4. Here’s a comment for you to downvote into oblivion but my reading is that SF hear that his uncle got attacked, they ask him what happened and he says he doesn’t know.

    That’s it?

How exactly is this supposed to reflect so badly on SF? Seems like some fairly desperate mud-slinging to me. First the Indo tried the angle of “you bullied him out of the party – major scandal!” Now they’ve taken the angle of “you asked him if he knew who attacked his uncle. He said no.”

Now in fairness, I’ve been strongly influenced by the Independent being the filthiest and most shameless organisation in the whole country. There’s a lot of dirt in that article – SF were supposed to know he was a gangster just because they lived in the same part of the city basically. He was Mary Lou MacDonald’s “protegé” apparently (was he bollocks). Is this the article where there’s also reference to a boxing club as if this was very incriminating, conveniently ignoring that it had hundreds of members, including Kelly Harrington? Maybe that’s a different Independent article on this. Actually, I think it’s sort of pathetic from the Independent, even when they’re right they’d still act as if they’re wrong.

BTW, in case you haven’t downvoted this yet, I will not vote for SF at the next general election and their platform is a joke. I will vote for Leo Varadkar because I rely on my tenant to pay my mortgage and Leo is the only one sticking up for me.

I’ll see you all in Reddit hell.

Edit: as you can tell, I didn’t actually read that article, that would be no fun.

  5. Absolute shitebag party! They’ve done nothing up the North and have been found to commit every offence they sling at the opposition.

They appeal to every scrote because its easy in opposition to promise the world.

  6. That leaves you all voting for FG and FF. After 100 years, you should be all ashamed of yourselves. Michael Collins is turning in his grave.
