Government is treating all public sector workers with contempt, literally making them pay for the governments terrible decisions
On the one hand, I thing it’s absolutely disgusting and terrible.
On the other hand, I think the British people deserve to be urinated on by the government.
Everytime they vote, they vote for the most right-wing plutocrats possible. Why?
They hate the working class. Factory workers, Nurses, Doctors, Teachers. It doesn’t matter. If you work for a living, you are a sucker. Their entire policies are based on helping people who own capital and manage capital.
I came across a video of the young Jacob Rees-Mog:
>”I admire Margaret Thatcher. My dream is to make more money. Money is the most important thing”
Today, he is one of the top Tory figures. He was elected.
How can a single political party be in power for 13 consecutive years? How can a party be led by one of the wealthiest family the world has ever seen?!!
Democracy is based on the idea citizens vote for people representing their best collective interest. British people suffer from the Stockholm syndrom. They love their abusers.
Just give them a pay rise and link it to inflation for the future?
We can’t have a system that relies on teachers fighting the government every year at the expensive of the pupils
Honestly it’s horrendous how little they get paid, especially considering the shortage of stem teachers, who would turn down a well paid stem career to be overwork, underpaid and blamed for everything?
They treat all the lower classes with contempt Bank of England too telling us not to ask for pay rises as it will drive inflation yet here we are no pay rise and at 20% inflation?
Corporate greed is driving inflation and the Tories love it that they can blame the unions.
At least they got a pay offer to be insulted by, I’m half convinced Stephen Barclay is unaware junior doctors are striking again in a few days
Plenty of people think teaching is easy. They went to school as a pupil so they know exactly how to teach and think they could do a better job than the teachers they had. If those types spent one morning in a classroom as a teacher, they would fall flat on their arse (great idea for a reality show in my opinion). It is how the government is able to get away with it all. When people do not see teaching as the demanding and prestigious career it is, it makes it easier to get the public onside with respect to how they treat teachers.
Well said. How about we take the teachers and give them the money that govt won’t? Govt would be so unhappy.
