sounds impressive until you realise it only covers a subset of subset and indeed does not set the minimum wage for International Seafarers.
Seems like a window dressing. Companies can hire people on IR35 contracts and any employment laws will not apply, including this one.
Or set a minimum wage for all international seafarers which stop in British ports?

Rewrite the wrongs of 500years of the British monarchy ask your government to free the United Kingdom and Australia from the monarchy & give our nations a fresh start. Then the AUKUS military deal will mean something. So will life. As life will have a value. Slavery set the precedent we have the $ figures and research of the cost of life for every age country & town in the world. Use it to Make the positive change the world needs. Not more poverty &death. Let us heal after covid. We don’t need war
And i expect loopholes to be fully abused. Either deduct costs from wages whilst techincally paying the lowest amount legally or ensure their ships don’t stop at the UK at the legal limit.
If this is in apparent response to the shit behaviour of P&O, the government aren’t exactly sticking it to them by tossing P&O a new contract.
