Not true. Only some paranoid individuals can consider Turkey a threat.
Completely not true
I just like the beaches
Turkey is our most popular tourist destination
I think that Bulgarians generally don’t think that Turkey is a threat as much as Greeks do, mainly because Turkey has a “more active foreign policy” towards Greece than Bulgaria. Relations between Bulgaria and Turkey are normal right now, it’s business as usual as far as I know. Of course, there are people who believe that Turkey is the biggest threat for historical reasons. I believe that Turkey isn’t a threat now, but under certain conditions, which are currently not present, it can become an imminent threat and that Bulgaria isn’t ready for that, but should be.
Completely untrue, whoever made this map needs to look past the 2nd world war, for all of the nations involved in this graphic
I guess that’s true for Poland and the USA.
As for Bulgaria and Greece, we’ve had nearly as much beef as we’ve had with the Turks. But that’s all in the past now. The vast majority of Bulgarians have no issue with Greece or Greeks and most people I know don’t hate Turkey or Turks and don’t consider them a threat. Of course, there are the ultra-nationalists in every society but those are outliers. Turkey has no border issues with Bulgaria and our grievances are largely in the past. We also love the Bulgarian Turks and consider them our compatriots, they’re much better integrated here than Muslims in the West are. They all speak fluent Bulgarian, mostly share our values and consider Bulgaria their homeland so we have little to no issues with them. We want nothing but friendship with all our neighbors.
As for the third part, I think it’s also false. Serbs are much closer to Russia than Montenegrins. From what I see Montenegro is much more western oriented, even more so than Bulgaria. But you should probably ask Montenegrins how they relate to this meme.
Ok, you’re right. I know of Turks in the mountains who speak bad or almost no Bulgarian. But the vast majority of them speak Bulgarian and yes, I’ve met many Turks and they’re all cool people.
Not true. Turkey has not been a discernible threat for Bulgaria in a very long time.
Bulgaria and greece is not true
The relationship is
People going to the beach – get a lot of money from them
От тоя пост разбрах, че гърците са някви пандизчии.

At this point hating Turkey is just a meme.
