On the day of the Brexit result an English colleague showed me his Facebook feed full of racist vile abuse from family and friends he’d left behind in England years before. He explained that was why once he qualified for an Irish passport he let his uk one expire.
Fine as long as they stay away from the Gaeltacht.
Someone should introduce them to the Healy-Raes. They’ll go back to Cornwall in no time.
Since Brexit alot of Brits are moving to Ireland in general
they’ve been doing since at least the 1970s, I live in west cork and there is a huge chunk of british retirees, holiday makers and hippies who live out here
