One of my favourite things about living in a new culture is learning new traditions like this!! What other traditions are there in czech that I must learn?
This isn’t something to be celebrated. Many Czech women find these old customs inappropriate and don’t want to participate in them. It’s usually men who enjoy “pomlázka” the most. If someone tries to assault me with pomlázka I won’t allow it.
