Landlord threatens tenants with electric saw during an attempted eviction

  1. Jesus Christ that’s terrifying. Really hope it’s not true that guards refused to get involved – don’t know how that wouldn’t be classed as assault

  2. This doesn’t make any sense unless the old man is psychotic in which case how would the guards not be involved?

  3. Take it to the RTB and you’ll get a nice payout for threats and intimidation, might be advisable to consider moving quickly as someone this mentally unstable is likely to try it again

  4. How in the name of fuck can the gaurds not arrest this guy for attacking someone with an electric saw??

Oh yeah, because they are useless cunts.

  5. Was going to say it’s laughable that they cared more about a piece of art offending them than they do about keeping people safe but it’s not funny at all.

Jesus. How have we come to this?

  6. Remember Varadkar only a month ago saying society should stop demonising landlords. This is the type of scum he’s supporting when he says one mans rent is anothers income. These are the type of landlords who see others earnings as their god given income.

  7. There’s going to be a time in the future where people look back at this history period and wonder why the concept of a ‘landlord’ was tolerated in society.

  8. “That’s a civil matter” needs always to be followed with “Can I have your badge number and speak to the sergeant in charge please?” and nothing else.

  9. I hope the guard dealing with the matter watched the video. Generally it is a civil matter landlords and tenants but once violence is involved I can assure you that there is a criminal offence disclosed here, at least an Assault contrary to Section 2 of the non-fatal offences against the person act 1997 due to the threat of violence … as a garda myself I believe this is something that should be prosecuted if the tenant makes a statement re criminal matter.

  10. Where are all the boot lickers gone who were adamant that the gardai only attended evictions to observe and “keep the peace”. I’ve never seen them protect tenants when any of this shit goes on. Thugs for hire. They didn’t even take a statement when called for this

  11. Auld lad will get arrested, get Judge Nolan, and get praised by Nolan for the restraint he showed for not killing the whole family and let off without a bad word said against him.

Then when he harms someone there will be a lot of hand wringing about how no one could have seen it happening.

  12. Imagine being yer man trying to stay in the gaff now, afraid to fall asleep in case the mad lad bursts into the house in the middle of the night and attacks him or the rest of the family, fucking looper

  13. Jesus what an absolute psycho. I’d have broken a chair on face if he did that to me. Crutch or no crutch
