25. I hope the guard dealing with the matter watched the video. Generally it is a civil matter landlords and tenants but once violence is involved I can assure you that there is a criminal offence disclosed here, at least an Assault contrary to Section 2 of the non-fatal offences against the person act 1997 due to the threat of violence … as a garda myself I believe this is something that should be prosecuted if the tenant makes a statement re criminal matter.
