There’s also an airport strike in Hamburg, Köln/Bonn, Düsseldorf and Stuttgart going on. Good luck getting anywhere tomorrow.
Just for context/clarification/added info: this will not be the same situation as the big Bahnstreik last month. Back then, 2 unions (ver.di and EVG) called for a combined strike. This time, only EVG is involved (at least when it comes to the Bahnstreik; the airport strike called by ver.di just happenes to fall on that day) which means that the areas that ver.di covers (primarily local bus networks, inner city trams, etc) are less likely to be affected by this strike.
