    > Wolf, a UK national, was jailed for ten years by Judge Martin Nolan last month after he was caught in possession of firearms parts and guides for 3D printing weapons in July 2021.

  2. Scary to see references to his problems with “certain groups” and he had recordings of the Christchurch massacre in his apartment when raided.

The far-right are a real issue and people will hopefully starting see that.

  3. So, those blue boxes are barrels, the black yoke is an AR15 buffer tube and the bags looks like they contain AR15 fire control parts.

My best guess would be he was planning on making an FGC-9 which is a 3D printed 9mm SMG that uses ar15 parts. There’s also a shitty knock off EOTECH sight in the top right.

  4. What is it with the British exporting their extremist views to other nations, you’d think they are Americans or something.

  5. >Wolf is also wanted in the UK for terrorism and child abuse imagery charges

So when he has done his 10 years here he goes back to blighty for more jail time, all going well.

  6. That looks like an AR style buffer tube and there also appears to be a customised pistol slide there. It’s got hexagons cut into it lol – maybe that was 3d printed?

Folded up flag is black sun it looks like.

Genuinely didn’t think this type were in Ireland. Crazy. Some lunatic with an AR could obviously do a lot of damage here, more than with a bomb. I’d be curious to know how long it would take the Gardaí to show up armed.

  7. Huh, I’d love to have the opinions of r/Ireland’s own u/random_word_number accounts, all of whom are only three months old and are Just Asking Questions (mostly about immigrants/ethnic minorities/trans people), but oddly, they don’t seem to be here…

  8. > a far-right sympathiser and paedophile

Funny. They’re always banging on about how everyone on the left is a paedo. A literal Wolf in sheep’s clothing.

  9. The craziest part of this story is judge Nolan actually sentencing someone for 10 years

  10. When you see glimpses of some of the utterly unhinged bubbles online, it’s concerning.

I think we have been underestimating the risks.

Some of these people are literally off their rockers and they’re feeding into and inhabiting a parallel universe online, which seems to be full of paranoia, anger and outrage at all sorts of targets.

  11. So, six months or so ago, there wasn’t a mass shooting in Ireland.
    No funerals.
No condolences from the US Embassy
    No Judicial Inquiries.
    No Thoughts and Prayers.

Only an arrest, a trial and a long fucking sentence.

Whatever this creature was planning will remain known only to himself, and we are far better off for it. Something truly dreadful was prevented.

The law acted as a tripwire. The guards and customs did their jobs. Even Judge Nolan.

But you can’t sit back and believe he was the only one, either. He was just the one that got caught. A warning that we’re not immune by any special quirk of national character or geography.

They’re going to ban 3D Printers or something, aren’t they?

  12. I’ve heard about the potential to 3D print guns before but didn’t realise it was actually a thing now. How the hell do you control access to firearms if people can basically print one at home when they are bored one night.
