It simply *is* a critical infrastructure.
Simply ridiculous that it’s not classed as ‘critical infrastructure’. How many millions of jobs does it support?
For all the (likely most reasonable) criticism the sale is likely about to receive, I’d like to point out that it is by no means unique. Not to say that that means it shouldn’t be criticised, but rather to ask why earlier similar sales have not made it to the public eye.

God… finally Europe is waking up, the warning bells rang many years ago, when China started buying stakes in Greece, Spain, France, Belgium, Poland, Netherlands ports.
I still remember when China helped rebuild port in Greece, the next thing that Greece did was veto EU Statement regarding China human rights violations. Coincidence?
