So many choices and people deliberately choose the American plastic beta software on wheels?
One of the most overrated cars you can currently buy, IMHO.
More plastic than Barbie. Average build quality.
No wonder they had to drop their price soo much.
As much as I think that there are better EV options out there (depending on what exactly you look for in a car), I was recently on the lookout for an EV and the options were basically: get a Tesla or Polestar which can be delivered in a reasonable time-frame or wait a year or more for your new car.
I’m sure this helped for their ranking in this.
well yeah, they are well priced (about the same price range as a Cupra Born, Citroën e-c4 etc…) and they deliver fast due to the fact that Tesla is entirely build ‘in-house’ so no complications with parts suppliers. also, option list is very limited so they can make ‘stock’
I knew we weren’t going to make it when we started to pretend a car with a 500kg battery is good for the environment.
Electrical cars are quite cynical and pretty much a scam if you claim they will save the world.
Saving the world requires sacrifice. A carfree infrastructure. But I guess we are just going to try and con the laws of physics.
This news proves there is no hope of survival because we can’t solve problems unless it can be sold as a product.
The only reason Tesla is bought, is because it has tje highest tax-rebait.
You can almost entirely write the car off as a self employed person/business.
Three colleagues and I just ordered a new company car, I’m the only one that didn’t get a model Y (and also the only one still waiting for delivery)
The top 10 most sold car models this quarter:
* Volvo XC40: 3 231
* Toyota Yaris: 3141
* Tesla Model Y: 3140
* Opel Corsa: 2798
* BMW X1: 2367
* BMW 1-Series: 2260
* Dacia Sandero: 2181
* Citroën C3: 2180
* Dacia Duster: 2143
* Peugeot 2008: 2119
Actually if you compare the prices they are quite competitive. A BMW or audi EV alternative is more expensive.
I still wonder when dear Elon, who claims to care sooooooooooooooo much about the environment, will finally bring out an electric bus or e-bike to “revolutionize transportation”.
Funny how his revolution only involves the most wasteful form of transportation: cars. It’s almost like he doesn’t give a shit and just wants to make money
It’s just annoying Tesla doesn’t want to participate in universal charging standards.
As of Q1 2023, the Tesla Model Y is actually Europe’s best-selling car. Belgium was very much a late bloomer when it comes to buying Teslas.
It is also the 2nd best-selling car in China and the 4th best-selling car in the U.S. (after the big three pickup trucks).
We have one because it’s cheaper than other brand’s cars like Volkswagen, Audi, Skoda…
So we decided Tesla was best option, it also has a pretty large trunk/frunk.
