I like that someone at least added another color than blue/black. The gentleman with the red tie
Macron still hasent announced his bid for presidency.., but it would be a huge suprise if he wouldnt run.
Where Poutou ?
A few things to point out in this:
– The left has been completely wiped out from the political map in France. All the leftist parties together combined can hardly hit a 20%. Their indifference towards the issues of terrorism and islamism has played a pivotal role in this
– Macron has proven his competency by managing to keep such high approval ratings (for French standards).
– Zemmour, Le Pen and Pecresse are really strong. Combined the right amounts for nearly *half the vote*.
What to make of this? Has the French left gone liberal? Or have the people of the far-left moved to the far-right? A lot of ex-communist strongholds are now in support of Le Pen. Whatever the case the political landscape has changed in an interesting way. Politics after Macron won’t be the same.
I, as an ex-PS supporter, have completely shifted my support in favor of Macron. Him and Draghi are highly skilled politicians and technocrats. The tides of populism have found a wall of resistance in these two.

Go Macron. We need somebody who believes in strong, independent EU.
Eric and Marine are competing for the same voters right? Who is worse?
Dupont Aignan ce mécréant. Je vais voter pour le type à 1% pour qu’il soit dernier.
Being a PS supporter must be so depressing these days.
Jadot looks like the child of Jeremy Renner and Liam Neeson
Ignorant Brit here. Are these listed in political standing of left to right?
“So France, how many candidates do you wa…?”
“YES!”
So for the dumb American…I had assumed Macron was more or less center right. Wikipedia says Pecresse is also center-right; she’s the replacement for Fillon last time? Le Pen and Zemmour are far right…or at least their anti-immigrant stance is; I feel like Zemmour at least is sort of a horseshoe theory far-right/far-left mashup populist.
The only lefty I see in Melanchon, who I thought was basically a communist.
So is there any center left party alive in France right now? Whats going on over there, looks like 62% of the vote is already on righty politicians. What happened to the Jospin/Hollande type parties?
The woke left being so crushed makes my soul dance.
I thought Macron wasn’t that popular judging by all the yellow jacket protests?
in a few weeks we’ll have more candidates than voters on the left…..
What happened to left in France? And why are there multiple left candidates standing? Why don’t the left wing parties agree to unite behind one candidate? They really need to get their shit together.
After seeing how many people support Zemmour, i dont want to hear a French making fun of italian for having Berlusconi as prime minister.
What are his chances in a run-off? Against Pécresse he loses and against Le Pen/ Zemmour he swings it?
The Tarkin Doctrine is strong with Eric Zemmour.
Is Macron really that popular?
Roussel considers Mélenchon to be too much on the left nojoke
so Mélenchon is the most left-wing candidate
Every time I see this graphic, I’m sure France invented 5 new parties since the last time I saw the graphic.
Edit: Wow. This statement apparently hit a note.
zemmour sucked those voters out of Le Pen
Argentine here. Had heard about Le Pen and Zemmour. Not about Pecresse. Is she like a center right candidate with not too radical ideas? What are her proposals?
Are the French that conservative?.
The left is so out of touch with the realities most people in France live in on a day to day basis that there is no hope for them to have a decent election result. Their denial of reality and underadressing legitimate concerens plus the current state of the country made them insignificant on the electoral scale. It’s nothing but the left’s own fault.
Forgot the 60% of abstention
16% Russia supporters
c’est la fête à gauche
75% votes for the (centre) right?
Wow, the French really don’t think too kindly of the left.
for the moment…
Wow, and thought the political situation in Germany was bad…
5% for the Greens, 3 (!) Percent for the Social Democrats… and the only left-wing party with more than 10% is eurosceptic?! What the hell is this
put Le Pen into a cannon
thank god the right is divided like that.

Also France come on get your shit together. the Right is bigger than the middle?
