If it is, why would anybody put up with this kind of behavior?
If you haven’t paid for a specific chair, it’s not your property nor can you call dibs on it. If somebody “forgot” their towel like this, I’d just neatly place it aside for them to retrieve later.
It is really useful. It shows which place to avoid.
I thought the germans were more cafull, that’s a lot of lost towels to bring back to the hotel lobby.
I would pick up the towels and throw them in a bush. Then take a seat opposite them and watch the show.
So obvious that it almost feels like a false flag operation
Papa strumf got there early
These chairs are now property of the Federal Republic of Germany.
Where do they think they are? POLAND?
*First day of holidays in Spain, and I woke up to this at 7am.* Free towels – what a service.
Ahh the classic conflict. Germans try to reserve every sun bed within a fifteen mile radius, that they haven’t been seen anywhere near in hours, and Brits, French, Italians and Spaniards throw their towels in the pool. Nature is beautiful.
Random tour agency anywhere in Europe: “Ah you’re Swiss? You know, we offer the tour in German as well!”
Me: “One ticket for the English tour please.”
This is such shitty behavior.
Sorry. Spain is now part of the Reich.
I am so glad a lot of hotels remove towels if it is being put before breakfast or is unattended for half an hour

The Strandtüchter wars have begun!
Das ist der Weg.
The husbands put those out at 4am
Jokes aside, is this really a thing?

Throw them in the pool
Stock photo. Used all over the internet.
Fake as decaffinated coffee or non-alcoholic beer.
Die spezielle touristische Operation ist unterwegs!
Just gather all the towels, put them aside and when the Germans come, just shrug.
OP is a bot
Jeremy Clarkson said once on 5th gear: “…and we all know that Germans like to get up early in the morning…”.
of course you did… [https://www.reddit.com/r/europe/comments/cnj5aa/first_day_of_holidays_in_spain_and_i_woke_up_to/](https://www.reddit.com/r/europe/comments/cnj5aa/first_day_of_holidays_in_spain_and_i_woke_up_to/) (repost from at least 4 years ago)
When i was a kid on vacation in Mallorca with my parents it was my job to run down with the towels before breakfast.
Good times 😎
Blitzkrieg even on vacation
Looks like normal efficiency.
Germans for you….a bunch of arseholes. We know the kinda past they have.
