BBC radio needs more metal, the rock show just isn’t very good
Like the changes! Always thought Riley and Coe both having the entire weekday evening slot was a bit bizarre. Ravenscroft is much better suited.
Interesting ideas. I prefer Gideon Coe to Marc Riley, but we’ll see how it works with them sharing it. Deb Grant getting a permanent slot with Tom Ravenscroft is good to see, she’s pretty good when she sits in for Chris Hawkins.
Sadly it is almost 19 years since Tom Ravenscroft’s father died. (John Peel for those unaware). No one comes close to promoting a variety of music and giving a leg up to new artists.
Bit sick of Riley, think he’ll be better with Gid. Love me some Ravers and I like the idea of a more accessible new music show. Pretty happy I think
