I am not Moldovan, but from an outsider perspective, this is impressive. Sandu, according to the poll, managed to increase her share even after very difficult years. With COVID (and Moldova did not had that much access at vaccines), very high inflation, huge Russian political pressure and a de facto embargo from Transnistria regarding energy supply and gas.
This is a huge change from the times when pro-Russians were in power and winning elections. Russia may have lost another country that was close to them.
One more thing, what position does Ceban has? He was with the communists and later Dodon, right?
