A lot of the comments are focusing on Andrew being an MP ETC. I’m just a little shocked that the judgement has been published.
I think it’s spiteful and vindictive by the ex partner. This is a finding of fact based on oral evidence whereby the judge has explicitly stated they ‘preferred’ one parties testament over the other.

Men should be afraid – I’m not condoning his behaviour but this is crazy.

She then got herself selected for candidacy for his former seat and won.
In 2020, there was a ‘family’ Court case where we get this news report from – no mention of the reason for the ‘family’ Court, but one can reasonably conclude it involved a custody case.
Today – thanks to a good piece of journalism, we have this story.
Now, I ask myself, does the timing of this have anything to do with a (still distant) Parliamentary Election?

She must have got him to admit it somehow. Very hard to get that to stick.

I had some dealings with him as a civil servant. I used to lead investigations for the IOPC several years ago. He was representing a constituent, and unfortunately we found no case to officer for the officer in question. He was so unbelievably rude and callous towards me when I broke the news to him. I’ve never been spoken to like that before or since. He’s a fucking scumbag and a danger to women.
This is the cunt that Theresa May reinstated so she could stay in power.
It’s a bit overzealous to say rape victim. It was found on a balance of probability. i.e. the judge believed her by one percent more.
They’ll have to suspend his membership for two months after this one!

He’s also barred from a number of pubs for being aggressive and rude and an all round prick. Nasty fucker and I’m glad it’s come out and his wife has found justice.
So will there be any punishment? I didn’t see anything about that in the article
