Man that was a weird time. Months of campaigning from Boris’ opponents to demand a general election, then they refused to give him one.
Uh…no, he wasn’t. He was voted by the galactic senate, the equivalent of a parliament.
This must have been before the 2019 general election when Boris Johnson actually was democratically elected.
Very current and topical.
The best feature of a parliamentary system, I don’t think the alternatives for boris Johnson in a system where you need to re-election every time the pm quits would be better.
