Zadar Sea Organ – what do locals think of this?

  1. Literally a couple holes in the ground where you can hear water splashing and some random sounds. Okay I guess. Definitely not in the top 10, 20 or 50 things I’d recommend seeing in Croatia. Probably cracks the top 100.

Personally I’ll always rather go to a secluded place and listen the water hit the natural rocky coastal terrain but I have that “luxury” available to me while I assume most people don’t.

  2. Whatever. It feels like something forced and unnecessary so we can have something new to tell tourists to go see (which zadar really doesnt need)… Also considering its croatia somebody probably put alot of public money in pocket for this.

  3. Honestly its neat for chilling there on the sunny days, as it provides a nice background noise, tho it feels like few notes need tuning or mantinece as it sounds completely out of line then the rest

So in short, great for chilling, but more of a “one and done” as a tourist attraction

  4. Former local who often visits. I found it a bit annoying. Bloop. Bloooop. Blop. Blooop. Hooonk. Hooooooonk. Honk. Hooonk.

  5. Too many people during the summer, you cannot walk or sit anywhere.

For the rest of the year it’s ok but locals don’t hang around there too much, only passing by. We love to sit in a coffee bars more 😀
