  1. Russians do the same thing… empire loving crowd will never accept bad history.

    People from old empires do similar. For example, Uk simping crowds in Anglo sphere will put up Churchill as some sort of good daddy pedestal while completely disregarding that he caused a famine in India… that was millions of people who really did not have to die.

  2. A large population believing that it was justified increases the likelihood that something like it could happen again.
