That is cool, my son is always throwing these rocks into the ocean, I’ll pay attention next time if I find something. Is that common to find it or is it rare?
The first one is like a nautiloid of some sort. Just saw a comment saying orthoceras which seems bang on.
The second one is funky! Are the black bits like coal at all? I came across some wood that was turned to coal but kept the bark shape when I was mapping out wesht and it reminds me of that. Amazing finds btw.

As Wicklow’s mostly composed granite and gneiss (igneous and metamorphic rocks) that fossil will have been transported a good distance from its original location, probably by glaciation. Some of the Burre’s limestones show some very decent fossils of shells.
