Yesterday on ukpol I actually had some desperate Tory try and tell me that investigating whether a party took place last year was “an impossible task”.
Everyone who goes into downing Street has to pass a security barrier, the police failed to notice more than 6 people from more than two households walked past?
Genuinely surprised to find this tagged at satire.
Upon reflection, very sad I needed the see the tag.
I must be the only one that doesn’t give a shit about this, but then i’ve never been under the illusion that the ruling classes have any habit of following the rules or the law that the average person has to.
Joking aside isn’t there an independent complaints procedure for police decisions? Seems like they’re trying to cover their own backs considering they obviously knew these parties were going on and they turned a blind eye.
Imagine hosting parties so wild that you have to hold an inquiry to find out if it happened and if you were there.
This keeps coming up in my feeds and I get excited and then see the URL. 🙁
London contains 1/5 of all CCTV cameras in the country. Its the 3rd most surveyed city in the entire world with the rest of the top 10 all being in China.
Westminster also has the largest police presence per capita in the country. Downing Street is literally policed 24/7/365.
Remember when the government’s investigation into Russian interference found no evidence of corruption because, it turned out, nobody had looked?
This isn’t dissimilar.
Boris fed government money to the woman he was fucking behind his partner’s back. If there were no consequences to that, I don’t think this will come to anything.
Something something satire is dead something something …
I wouldn’t be surprised if there’s parties going on there now
Satire aside, I said this already on another thread.
If the Police have no evidence to support the claim then those officers that were stationed outside Downing Street on this party dates should be investigated for misconduct unless they have signed some major secret act of “whatever happens you are not allowed to talk about it” – which is highly unlikely.
