They have lots of cameras in the city parcs, hopefully they all get identified quickly
There is clearly need of surveillance cameras in public places with emergency response linked to the cameras. Police can’t be present at everyplace and technology should deployed as it is clearly required. Life and safety of someone stands way far above someone’s need to not being looked at when walking outside in public where people can see them.

There is definitely a need for CCTVs in public. It will at least act as a deterrent when people know they can get caught.
The minister responsible for the police is from the green party – they omitted to recruit enough police for some years and only picked the shovel up recently.

Is this just a recency bias or does it really seem like these muggings, stabbings, beatings etc. have increased excessively lately? I could swear that recently you hear about them nearly every day? A kid down my street was also mugged some weeks ago.

Genuine thoughts on the Police here? From Personal experience I find them very incompetent and Lazy,they just don’t do anything unless it’s drugs or parking tickets shit doesn’t make sense
I said it many times before and sadly this is the truth. Until someone related to these politicians gets smashed in the face, nothing major will change. Luxembourg has completely missed the ball and the signs were on the wall for the last ten years. People are :
1. Attacked whilst jogging in town in Sunday at midday. Result? Looking for witnesses
2. Stabbed for a phone and a few euros. Result ? Looking for witnesses
3. Bashed in the face at a bus stop in Kirchberg for a phone and a few euros. Result? Looking for witnesses
4. Assaulted on public transport to be robbed. Result ? Looking for witnesses.
5. Attacked on Avenue Monterey.
6. Attacked at the GARE.
7. Attacked on Grand Rue.
Let’s continue to ignore this safety issue because we got other priorities which are more important than health and safety of the population.
