New rules: Here’s what Finland is doing to slow down Omicron

  1. All in all they dont seem too outrageous tbh. I hope it’ll be enough but I also don’t want to be locked in or i might go crazy. Interested in hearing other peoples opinions. What do you guys think?

  2. My mom it’s coming back with me, I have a resident permit and 2 vaccines, she has already 3 vaccines . It seems that I won’t need a negative test but she will, is it right?, 3 vaccines + negative test? Isn’t it too much?

  3. So for myself coming to Finland from the United States next week, if I’m fully vaxxed, then all I need to do is show proof of a negative Covid test 48 hours before my arrival?

  4. I’m a EU citizen living in Finland with 2 vaccinations. Does anyone know if the Finnish ID is enough to prove residency when flying back to Finland? (I’ll check anyways but just thinking if someone here would know)

  5. German resident here.

So if I enter through a Ferry, so I need to show a test in addition to a Covid Certificate?

What about leaving by flight from Helsinki to Germany?

  6. Could someone help me understand the new changes? My husband and I (US citizens) are fully vaccinated and have the booster. We’re going to Sweden first. Then we’re coming to Helsinki on the 28th when the new rules take effect.

Prior to this announcement we didn’t need a negative test since we’re coming from Sweden. Does that chage with the new restrictions that start in the 28th? If yes we will gladly get a test completed! We’re already testing multiple times before our trip.

Thank you and we look forward to visiting!

Edit: I’ve read the article and the Border Entry page but their info doesn’t match. Thank you again for any clarification!
