The sun comes back in May
Back in November I had a discussion with a German who disputed my claim that winter had begun in Norway, because only December, January and February are winter months.
I tried to explain that winter isn’t just a concept for the calendar in Norway, it’s a state of nature.

Same here (Oslo west). And I thought “I’ll be proactive this year and change to sommerdekk right after påske”… bugger.
I got sunburnt on Saturday from walking to town and back. Yesterday I was assaulted by ice rain on the way to town and huge snowflakes on the way back. It’s the same today, I’m afraid.

40 plus cm here of new snow. Time to see if my snowblower still has fuel in it, because I can’t find the other fuel cans.

Yeah… I missed a flight this morning due to Flytoget delay. I always take earlier train than the last one before the flight, but this time even that was not enough.
Winter really is a tantrumming toddler in Norway.
There go my daffodils, krokusses, and tulips..they were just about to bloom too 🙁

Started on Sunday in my neck of the woods. And it’s been snowing constantly ever since
My English midterm got suspended because of the weather. Free from school so I won’t complain but now I have to shovel snow
I just carried all my winter coats to the basement and carried my summer jackets upstairs like two days ago…
Haha. It truly is. A winter encore Just as the snow was melting too. I’d carved little channels into my dirty path on a hill, watching all the water roll away. It was nearly all gone. Spring was here. 4 days of sunshine. I even got a tan. Now [this](https://imgur.com/a/ZuSVkVM)
I mean, what the heck? We have lambs being born and the mamas are all miserable

I’m a Brit working in Oslo, Saturday I was sipping cocktails on a boat in the sun in the marina, today I have 3 winter coats on here on site, mental !!!

I live in Indiana in the US, not quite the same, but last week it was 70-80 F. So far this week it’s been between 30-50, AT THE END OF APRIL. Who turned off the sun!?

We just had a forest fire warning here last week, just outside Drammen, this morning we had snow.
Granted, not a lot of snow, and it went away very quickly, but still, snow all the same.
What gave it away?
Yea I flew in last night and was like ohhh snow ❄️ still how cute, woke up this morning in the centre of Oslo and didn’t think the snow was so cute now 🤦🏻♂️

Yeah here in Lillehammer I took the trash out and the snow literally touched my knees. I’m 190cm too so not exactly small. It was so sunny a few days ago… still adjusting to Norwegian weather haha
