How much is King Charles III’s Coronation going to cost and who pays for it?

Yes the man set to don a golden robe while wearing a fucking gold crown is conscious that people are poor. How about rather than changing monarchy we abolish the fucking thing

How about we have people on our currency that actually did something for the country and not some twat who does nothing.

‘Also, the King’s Coronation is expected to bring in around £1billion for the UK economy.’
Where exactly is this 1 billion going? Will this money be spread out evenly across the nation or benefit london as always? Will it be put towards social housing, education, NHS, roads etc? I doubt it.

I hope this twats little party is disrupted as much as possible

Queen Elizabeth II’s Coronation in 1953 cost £1.5million which equates to around £50million today.

So double the cost for Charles. Just have a room put the hat on and fuck off to a private party he pays for. Job done.

Such a weird thing to do in 2023, a man who thinks he is chosen by God to hold the position.

  3. King Charles had a personal net worth of £478,000,000 in 2022 (outside of assets belonging to the crown generally), and yet the taxpayer is expected to pay for this extravagant, ego-inflating party?

But yeah, its totally in our best interests because tourism!

  4. I’m indifferent to the royals. Couldn’t care less if they were abolished or not, but the whole pomp and ceremony is weirdly fascinating. It’s so archaic and odd, but somehow familiar. It’s not like a coronation is something we see very often and there’s plenty of people that will enjoy it.

  5. I think it’s a good use of money. I’m looking forward to that weekend and I hope we can put on a great display for the world to see.

  6. I’m sure the money would be far better spent on a million other things rather than trying to make a sad old fart look like a king
