This letter was in mail today
So did they gave up by sending mails and going back oldschool? Or am i really lucky /s
The real question how did they get my home adress.
Should i go to the cops or something?
Like phishing in my mailbox is just delete(wich i rarely gets)
But this is some next lvl private stuff 🫠🫠

My geography skills aren’t great but I would have sworn Madrid is not in Valencia.
You must have signed up with your Name and Address somewhere. Database leaks happen all the time.
I guess they’ve decided that their ROI from sending actual letters makes it worth it.
Ja die scammers verdienen goe geld, eens een fysieke brief sturen met postzegel kan er wel eens een keertje van af dan.
I had the same years ago. Not frim Spain, but some guy droped a printed email on my box
Dat e-mailadres alleen al. =’)
Uw adres vinden? Gewoon op Google streetview/maps gaan en mooie huizen zoeken ofzo? Niet teveel achter zoeken.
They could at least bother to update their template from time to time. They mention the estate is void after 2 years since date of death, which would’ve been 9 months ago right now.
The “money” is already gone.
Oh are we doing retro scams now? Time to dust of the old fax!
He’s giving a 50/50 ratio so stealing half the money. Fly to Madrid OP and pick up 100% yourself.
We got two of those similar ones between 2010 and 2013
New fear just unlocked for me. Emails are one thing, but real letters??
There has been an influx of these kind of letters in recent months. I know about 3 old familymembers who got one and a shitload of people who come into my workplace. Bizarre how this could be worth the time/effort in a digital age.
Ha. My manager at work got the exact same letter! Or at least very similar. He has a generic Flemish last name (think Janssens, Peeters,…) so I think they’re just throwing out a huge fishing net here.
They probably bought a leaked database with shipping info.
Time to register for a lot of nasty porn sites and spammails since they were so kind to give you an email address.
My uncle received a similar letter from France pretending to be from a law firm in the us. At least they’ve put some work in the letter.
Aw shit man, I recently won 1M in the spanish lottery, but 3.7M is even better!
On my own risk to look as an enormous dumbass (although I realise it’s a scam). If something’s to good to be true, it usually is…
But what’s the scammers endgame here?

It’s just a detail but what gets me is the “14 working days”.
No one talks about 14 working days, it’s either 14 days (aka 2 weeks) or 3/5/10 working days.
I do appreciate the effort in using a stamp.
My dad received a same/almost identical letter, but they misspelled his last name lol
I had a similar letter sent to my family in law, also got someone who got a similar case…it always comes from a supposed lawyer in Spain…
The email adress seems very professional ha ha
Got help from ChatGPT?
Next level? scamming by mail like before internet? I see as old school more than next level…
I received the same one a few months ago
I keep my faith in my Nigerian Prince, it’s been a while now, but I am sure he’s gonna come through in the next few weeks.
I had one of these some months ago and called the non-priority number of the local police to see if they are interested in it. They told me just to bin in and leave it at that.
gmail sounds legit
