As a disabled person…there’s already zero trust in the DWP
Horrible person, how can you smirk while saying you won’t release a report of great interest to the public.
I’m amazed there is any left. It’s bad enough when you are not disabled, then you read about the horrors of assessments and you see just how hard the government make it for disabled people to simply survive, let alone live. The disabled are treated as such because few people really listen to them and their concerns, which the government know all too well and exploit for their own gain.
Scum, like all of her party, and complicit in the deaths of countless benefit claimants.
as someone with autism, who had to interact with the dwp due to redundancy during covid, i trust the dwp to want me dead.
its eugenics credit, not universal credit.
i dont want to think about what its like without the uplift payment and easing of ruls for the pandemic, since ;
they promised to sanction me if i enrolled on an hgv licence training course, (taking time away from jobsearch)
and promised to sanction me if i didnt have broadband when my landlord had to sell my flat as collateral for their business.(failing to access worksearch journal)
The DWP give me screaming night terrors.
Unfortunately on one occasion I was in their offices when that happened. (It wasn’t night time). The very next day I received a letter saying, you still have to complete an interview.
A horrific woman overseeing a system designed to hurt and confuse anyone who is unfortunate enough to have to attempt to use it. There will come a time when this beast and others of her ilk will have to answer for thier actions.
She isn’t as anybody who has ever dealt with the DWP in the last decade know full well that their remit is to make life as brutally difficult a possible for disabled people.
I trust the dwp to make me homeless one day for no apparent reason
I’ve yet to meet a single person who’s had long term dealings with the DWP that thinks the system works. Everyone from the disabled, carers, social workers, doctors and even DWP staff are disgusted with it.
Everyone will advise you to minimise contact with the DWP as much as possible (contact = problems), to know your rights (they often ignore them), to keep copies of everything you send them and send it by recorded mail (everything gets lost/twisted until proven otherwise).
The DWP is a black hole where the human rights of the disabled go to die. Instead of giving people the freedom to be the best they can be, the system discriminates against the vulnerable and turns them into a degraded, invisible subclass. It is inhumane.
PIP is a nightmare. I have a disabled daughter who was refused PIP the first time we applied. We had to get a medical professional help us to appeal. The telephone assessment was a farce, they ignored everything we said and told us our daughter did not need help with walking, taking medicines, using the toilet and independent travel even though she can barely walk from the house to the car. And contradicted everything from our written application.
When we appealed they went from saying she was not eligible for any payments to giving her the full payment. So successful in the end but took us 8 months with many chasing phone calls and letters to sort out. Absolute joke.
I hate to use someone’s appearance against them for insults, but I make an exception for this fucked up, fat, ugly bitch that’s obviously never gone hungry in her life and has no concept of what it is to go without out.

Trust was damaged from the moment Cameron came to power and vowed to stamp out the almost non-existent “benefit fraud”. The hostile environment policy isn’t just about the asylum seekers but all of the most vulnerable in society. The death toll from their attack on the weakest is almost as high as that from their disastrous handling of the pandemic.
I’m horrified by the general air of disregard for the disabled by far, far too many people in the UK.
