Elon Musk bought Twitter to destroy it. I’m no fan of Elon Musk but I’m grateful for this.
Hehe. Trying to monetise something that was brilliant and free on the internet.
Twitter actually became interesting after musk bought it. Before it was just a left wing echo chamber cesspool.
Leave twitter, delete the app, don’t click on twitter links. You’ll be happier.
He only did this so he could then take the labels off China, Russia and Saudi Arabia.
Shouldn’t have done, BBC deserves a state affiliated label.
Disappointed by this. All Twitter was trying (ham-fistedly) to do was apply the same standards of disclosure about state funding to western media. It needed tweaked, sure, but it’s removal is a retreat from efforts at credibility systems online.
Despite thinking it impossible, Elon has made twitter worse by removing the one thing it was useful for. Time to move onto Mastodon.

Before Musk bought it, Twitter was a hell hole
Nothing has changed since, still a hell hole
