Hello all,

We are a small tech SME consisting of 7 people, and we have experienced rapid growth over the last two years. However, we are currently facing challenges with our bank, ING. Their online applications are far from satisfactory, and they do not allow us to carry out essential tasks.

We have been trying to transfer our account to KBC, but the administrative process is taking ages. We need to book a 3-week appointment, and all co-founders who hold more than 25% of shares must be present when opening the account. The issue is that one of our co-founders is not living in Belgium. I’ve heard that KBC has excellent online app features that would enable us to easily handle our accounting, but their customer service is reportedly not that great.

Does anyone have any recommendations for a good bank in Belgium? Alternatively, should we consider neo-banks? I am not aware of any that currently operate in Belgium.

I’ve heard that Wise Business is quite popular among nomad business owners in the US, but I am not sure if it would be helpful in Belgium, specifically with regard to simplifying the process of tax reporting, finances, and automatic contact with the Belgian National Bank.

I noticed that Wise is now a Belgian company ([**https://wise.com/terms-of-use-tw-europe#/section-5**](https://wise.com/terms-of-use-tw-europe#/section-5)), but I am still uncertain about it all. Can anyone help with my issue regarding Belgian banks, please?

No offense, but there have to be SOME checks, and that doesn’t seem unreasonable at all.
