Holy fuck… anybody around able to explain why the ocean and the Mediterranean Sea both seem to be unable to cool down the coastal areas?

Holy shit can’t believe is 37-38 in some places, we need help this summer. I’m enjoying the usual 25 degrees Celsius can’t even imagine those high 30s at this time.
Mid-thirties here is perfectly pleasant. I have had my windows open all day long until it gets cool at night.
I have already mentioned that Spain has worst natural conditions in Europe, so many downvoters disagree with me. For Spain the best solution is to control and reduce population size and restore better living condition when population declines.

My weather app is showing that while the temps are very high, the air is also dry AF. Dry air heating/cooling much easier and sweating also works really well to cool you down. Granada airport going from 11c at 7am to 37 at 3pm.
So does this heatwave really feel as bad as the temperatures suggest?
Meanwhile Germany has the coldest April since 1992 or something like that…
Hope firefighters are gearing up for wildfires/forest fires, it’s gonna be a tough season, it seems.
