Colchis more closely matches modern Abkhazia than modern Georgia – at the time that weapon was made, the people Greek historians called Apuseni (= Apsny, the modern Abkhazian word for themselves) occupied a sizable area of northeast Anatolia.
Proof that Nazis time travelled!
that’s a strangely shaped battle axe but I guess they were better than me at splitting people’s skulls in half
