Data Protection Commission publishes report on data protection audit of political parties in Ireland

  1. > Chapter Four of the report deals exclusively with Sinn Féin’s Abú database, it being the only political party in Ireland that maintains a database that encompasses electors/voters data from all parties across that State.

But Reddit told me everyone was doing this?

  2. Sinn Fein only designated a data protection officer in April just as the aduit was beginning.

Nor does its database have adequate backup or ways to detect unauthorised activity

Smaller parties got rightly fucked by the aduit.
