Met him at the Ifta’s once, he was actually really nice and soft spoken, this would have been around 2007 and he was clean shaven at the time, and his wife took a pic of the two of us.
He was presenting an award that night and went off script and I could see the autocue flashing at him to make him go back to it. He also made fun of Pierce Brosnan about he doesn’t have his Navan accent anymore, yet Hector still has his. Pierce actually left as soon as the ceremony was over and didn’t go to the after party.
Does he have a tattoo of a mickey on his chest?
My claim to fame is seeing Tommy naked. He lives out in salthill in Galway and he used to be in Days Hotel (now the Connaught) in the pool and gym. I seen him in there a few times in the changing room, bollox naked.
