Iaca pula.

2. “sa-i chis in freza” cum spunea un filozof vechi, cred ca ambasada americii si vama din america ne fute mult mai mult de atata pe noi.
Happens. Last year I applied to renew my “permis de şedere” on first week of May, appointment date came mid July and got my document last week of July. The funny thing is my permis de şedere was expired during waiting appointment (law says “you need to apply at least 30 days before expiration, I obeyed this) – mid June. I expect same thing will happen this year too.
I got my first permis de şedere during my university years, it took a long time then too and there was no digitalization at that time. Bear in mind that there were people that knew others in line which “granted” them the right to cut in line. My record for waiting in line was 7 hours – there were like 4 or 5 chairs though.
When I applied for my latest permit everything was digitalized and went by smoothly, this was in 2021. Right now I am 100% sure they are overwhelmed by requests and are understaffed.
I hope this guy takes a field trip to the u.s. embassy one day to see what Romanians have to go through there…”Be welcoming and kind to refugees and immigrants” ha! They should take their own advice!
*Furiously taps cheek*
