I’m scratching my head trying to figure out who they polled for this? Boris is absolutely adored in England and a lot of Wales. Come February and there will be a front page picture of Starmer eating a bacon sandwich and Boris and his Cons will be +7 again.
I’ll be surprised if he’s still PM in March.
Most Britons also believed that the EU would bend the knee if they voted for brexit.
edit: most britons on /r/europe are brexiters.
He’ll be PM for 2022, the Conservatives need him to take the fall. They’ll get rid in the second half of 2023.
Maybe. But don’t count him out just yet. The man is dangerously opportunistic and might find a way to stay.
Lots of Boris fans rushing to leave a Sinking ship, even though they knew he was an incompetent liar before and they totally loved him…
As long as it’s not Priti Patel replacing him…
No waaaaaaaaaaaaaay 😨
He should just rename himself to “Teflon Boris” by now
It’s small consolation for the fact that he was ever PM in the first place, tbh. Fuck him.
Brexit Boris shouldn’t have even made it through 2020, let alone 2021.
I’d say vaccine mandates will dominate next years headlines, the Tories will regroup and call an election over it whilst the lib dems and labour infight yet again over whether vaccine mandates should be implemented.
Then again the lib dems seem to be anti-restrictions
He will .
80 seat’s say otherwise. if they did the conservatives haven’t a leg to stand on .
Let’s hope not.
Where else will we get our regular serving of clown acts? Oh well, at the very least he has a future as tour guide at the Peppa pig amusement park.
Most in Britain, probably all in Northern Ireland
Why? With the unbridled success that is Brexit how can you all not want MOAR!!! /s
When you have a party within a party I don’t think it really makes much difference who is the “PM”

I wish he wasn’t PM by the end of this year!
He needs to go sooner than that.
Very insightful.
Who knew?

Why wait until then?
[It’s a fair argument given that the conservative polling numbers are in free fall](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Opinion_polling_for_the_next_United_Kingdom_general_election)
[and 71% think Boris is doing badly as PM](https://yougov.co.uk/topics/politics/trackers/boris-johnson-approval-rating)
He should throw a party of this.
I hope so

By definition (ruling out the possibility that Boris is immortal), all PMs will eventually leave office so repeatedly predicting it will see you correct eventually: [https://www.theguardian.com/politics/2020/aug/25/boris-johnson-will-quit-dominic-cummings-father-in-law-reportedly-says](https://www.theguardian.com/politics/2020/aug/25/boris-johnson-will-quit-dominic-cummings-father-in-law-reportedly-says)
Considering how long May held on, it seems unlikely he’ll be out next year.
