Politico being careless with wording here: MoUs are not binding international treaties like “trade deals” (FTA/RTA) are, and US states can’t sign international treaties.
It’s basically a letter of good will saying that we will both try to cooperate more on some stuff. Not a bad thing but let’s not conflate it with something it is not.
They keep doing these and people still think they actually mean anything.
How much is this going to contribute to our GDP?
£2.50 and a couple of paperclips? God, this is getting desperate!
So we will see more tornadoes then, is that the deal?
