Imagine a tram going through the center and a BGL office on one side
I used to live near the one in Hemel Hempstead. It’s actually surprisingly easy to navigate and works well in situations where a traditional roundabout would fail (heavy traffic from some roads and not others).
It does require a lot of discipline from drivers though, travelling in the wrong lane all the way round is a no go! So no chance it would work here!
Knowing my dear fellow Lux residents here, this roundabout would cause and absolute bloodbath every morning
Some people just want to watch the world ~~burn~~ gridlock
Here in Luxembourg, people still have a hard time choosing the right lane in the “turbo-RP” and cutting in front of people, as if it’s the normal thing to do. This would not end well.
The Magic Roundabout is easier than it looks, even when every square meter is occupied by a car. I probably drove through it on the way to my driving theory test.
